Ten Days of Christmas Tag
I was tagged by Raewyn to do the Ten Days of Christmas tag, so here goes!
1. What do you love the most about Christmas time?
Everyone tends to be so much happier it's great! :)
I'd love to celebrate more, with decorations and such, but I don't generally have that much time and my parents aren't huge on decorating.
3. Are you leaving anything out for Santa Claus this year so he remembers to leave your presents?
Probably not, there really isn't any Santa magic in our house any more.
4. What is the one gift you are most looking forward to GIVING? {It can be to your kids, another family member, etc – remember to be discreet if they read your blog.}
I'm not sure. Pretty excited about all of them actually!
5. What is your all-time favorite Christmas movie?
White Christmas! :D
6. What is your all-time favorite Christmas song?
I really like Christmas music and I don't think I could pick!
7. If given the opportunity, would you participate in an “Ugly Sweater” party and what sweater would you wear? Peruse one on the Internet or even if your own closet and show us!
I would definitely participate in an ugly christmas sweater party! Seen as I don't have any Christmas sweaters at all, I think something like this is what I'd wear!

8. Have you started any Christmas traditions this year that you plan on carrying forward?
We actually haven't done any Christmas-y things at all yet this year
9. It’s Christmas morning… what does it look like outside where you live?
Snow. So much snow.
10. You just found yourself standing under the mistletoe… who comes up to give you a kiss first?
Most likely nobody haha

How to (really) Wrap a Present!
Some people consider wrapping presents the hardest part of Christmas things! So, today I'm going to (try to) help show you. :)
Peppermint Sugar Cookies (Recipe)
Since it's the last week of dance before break, I made all my teachers cookies and will be handing them out this week as I have class. Last year, I made sugar cookies that were shaped like candy canes, this year I decided to actually put candy canes in the cookies. I think they turned out tasting pretty good!

Craft Help?
I have lots of pairs of tights from dancing so often. After a while, though, they get runs and I really can't use them any more. I feel bad throwing them out. Do you have any ideas of stuff I can make from them, or do you know some one who can use them to make stuff? Comment below, please! :)

The Sunday Currently

Linking-up for the Sunday Currently for my second time! Yesterday I had my first rehearsal of the season for Alice in Wonderland. The snow wound up delaying our director's flight, so all the little kid's rehearsals before ours were cancelled. Luckily, we got everything we needed to done. We have rehearsal again later today so hopefully it will go well again.
I'm currently. . .
Writing another essay for school. Well, I have the outline done. I should be writing my draft.
Listening to my Spotify playlist. I downloaded the app on my phone and got a free 48 hour trial of premium!
Smelling these candles I got from Melissa! Found the package on our porch yesterday when shoveling. Apparently USPS decided not to ring the door bell haha.
Wearing a leo, tights, leggings, and a t-shirt.
Hoping rehearsal goes well today, especially with my pinky toe that got a blister yesterday.
Wanting saltine crackers. I don't know why, but they sound realllllly good right now.
That's about it for today! Don't forget to enter my giveaway and come back and link-up your 5 Little Grins for the week with me tomorrow!

Best of Queen B
Since Beyonce surprised us all with 14(!) new songs and 17(!!!) videos on her new album, I decided to make a playlist of my top 10 Beyonce songs! But, they're all pretty amazing.

I Really Shouldn't Join My Parents Grocery Shopping.
I usually go grocery shopping with my parents. I don't generally mind it and they usually appreciate help finding better deals and such.
On Thursday I was with them and my little brother was there too. I really had to pee, so my brother and I went to the bathrooms, clear on the other side of the store. When we were done, we just went back to where our parents last were since they weren't answering our texts or calls.
Then we stood and waited, and waited, and waited. Then this older lady in one of those chair things starts backing up past us and staring at us. So I grab my brothers sleeve and pull him out of the way with me. The lady jumps and tells us "Huh. I thought you guys were a display!".
What?! I don't even get why anyone would think that. It's not like we were even standing very still. But, the lady giving out free wine tasting sure thought it was hilarious.

MOO Business Cards Review
Katie and I had been talking about getting business cards for awhile and when I got an e-mail from TicTail with a promo for free cards I decided it was time. Since the promo code was for 50 free business cards or 100 free mini cards, we went with the mini cards and I'm really glad we did!
The process of making the cards was pretty simple and not at all time consuming! There are lots of templates you can use to and that makes it go even quicker!
After ordering they'll let you know when they expect you to get your cards and then they email you again once your cards are dispatched to give you your tracking info. Originally, they said our cards would take 13 days. They wound up only taking 5 and I was very happy.
I thought the packaging was totally adorable and the little sleeve even has some information about the company on the back.
I was very happy with not only the how easy it is to design a card with them, but how nice the product is! If you've been considering making business cards, I think you definitely should. Plus, if you use my referral link here, you get 10% off your first order!

Meet Raewyn!
Today, you get to meet Raewyn from Be a Warrior Queen! Hopefully you already know a little bit about her since she co-hosts 5 Little Grins with me. Here's some more about her!
What's your name?
Raewyn Smith
How old do you feel?
Very happy with my life, motivated and excited.
When did you start your blog?
June 2009
Why did you start blogging?
I used to blog as a teenager back in the Xanga days about my every day life. I was one of the "alternative" kids and that was one of the things we all did to communicate. I've always been super into computers and writing so it just made sense for me. When my Xanga fell on the wayside and I was really thinking about getting my magazine started, my dad suggested I start a blog for it. I didn't really get into posting regularly until this past year. I always felt like no one was reading, after getting into the Carabox Exchange and meeting other bloggers, I became hooked all over again!
Is there a story behind your blog name?
One day in high school my best friend said "We are going to be Warrior Queens." She had just finished reading some self-help style books on dating and remaining independent while dating and it just stuck after that. We realized that it meant more than just in relationships, but in all of your life - being yourself.
What are some of the blogs you read every day?
Yours! Color Me Brave, By the Porchlight and Love is the Point. I try to read them every day, but I usually have to bunch it up. lol
What's your current job & what would be your dream job?
Currently - and for the first time in a long time I can say I only have one job - I am a computer lab teacher! I LOVE IT. My dream job would be to start my own magazine (Warrior Queen). :)
What do you look forward to most about the holiday season?
All of the time I get to spend with my family. When I work more than one job, I don't get to see them too often. During the holidays I see them more ON the holidays and prepping for the holidays. In a couple of weeks we are making tamales at my aunt's house. I am so excited!
