DIY Thursday: Recycled Bank

New here?  Follow us on Bloglovin'!
So, I've taken up the "hobby" of changing trash into cash!  All I use are old pop bottles (or juice cartons), duct tape, and scissors.  So, today I'm going to tell you how to do this, too!

Step 1.
Take your recyclable of choice and cut off the top so it is perfectly rectangular, square, or even cylindrical.

Step 2.
Start covering with duct tape of choice until fully covered, even the top where the hole is.

Step 3.
Cut a money-sized slit in the top, to make it a bank.  You're done!  The finished product should look like one of these:

Found Items

While cleaning out my closet a while ago, I found some interesting pieces of art from when I was younger.  Do you remember doing crafts like these in preschool or kindergarten?

I honestly don't remember anyone named Claudia at all.

Obviously I was always hella rad

DIY Thursday: Paper Tie-Dye

New here?  Follow us on Bloglovin'!

Start by spraying your shaving cream on a paper plate, piece of foil, or straight on your work space if you'd like.

Next, start dropping food coloring in the shaving cream.  Feel free to blend colors as it gives your art more dimension.

You're welcome to skip this next step, but I think it makes it look really cool.  Take a tooth pick or straw and draw lines through your drops.

Last, set your paper of choice on top and press gently.  Remove the paper and let dry.  They shaving cream will evaporate for the most part and just leave behind the color.  You can dye many different things from just one sheet of shaving cream and food coloring, but the colors will start to get fainter.

Craft Help?

I have lots of pairs of tights from dancing so often.  After a while, though, they get runs and I really can't use them any more.  I feel bad throwing them out.  Do you have any ideas of stuff I can make from them, or do you know some one who can use them to make stuff?  Comment below, please! :)
