Just Kidding!!

New here?  Follow us on Bloglovin'!  We're only three followers away from five-hundred and will be having a giveaway once we reach!

You probably saw our post yesterday about quitting blogging.  If you didn't, it's right here.

As you can probably tell from the title of this post, we were completely kidding about quitting.  Sorry!  We really do appreciate your continues support, though and hope you weren't offended by the joke.  :)

So, in all seriousness, Cassi's mom or Katie's aunt was born on April first.  This means through the years, we've had many get-togethers on the first of April.  There's only ever been one prank played, though.  This was played by CJ (Cassi's brother/ Katie's cousin) and he totally fooled everyone.

Here's the story he told us:

"So Cassandra, did you hear the ambulance come to the school today?"

"Uh, yeah"  (There actually was one, but neither of us no why)

"Well, it was for (insert random name here, but we'll go with Issac for the rest of the story).  In art class, we were having free draw and he was using a pencil.  It broke so he got up to sharpen it.  It was really sharp.  When he came back he tripped on someone's chair and stabbed himself in the eye"

Gasps all around along with various questions

"Yeah, the teacher made us all put our heads down while she brought him to the office and that's when the ambulance came to get him."

We were all totally convinced until his mom pointed out he didn't have art that day.  He answered all our questions without missing a beat.  The whole "putting their heads down" avoided the visuals.

The funniest part is our art teacher always told us we had to hold out pencils upside down when walking back to our table post sharpening so that exact thing didn't happen.  It had actually happened to one of her previous students so I guess that's where the inspiration came from.

We Used to Make Music Videos. . .

New here?  Follow us on Bloglovin'!

Hey!  Happy Hump Day and Make Your Own Holiday Day!  This is also our 300th post!  Can you believe it?  ANNND we're only NINE followers away from 500 on Bloglovin'.  So many great things going on today :)

Did you guys know we used to make music videos?  Well, we did and our YouTube username was pretty interesting.

Our first channel was called BumbleBeeBuzzzBuzzz.  If you'r going to check those videos out, I would suggest starting with this playlist.  Personally, I think they're pretty good considering I was in 5th grade at the time and we didn't have a tripod, so the entire time I was attempting to line the net picture up with the last.

Our next channel, and the one we currently use when we need to upload something, is called Glowormiez.  I had let my brother use this channel for a while before I sort of took it back, so some of the first videos are very interesting.

I think the best video on this one would have to be our "Tea Remix".  Pretty much we video taped each of the elements involved of making tea, then used the sound to make a "song" type thing.  It was fun, but I do think we could have done better.

If we started making videos again, would you watch them?  Have you made similar videos?  Leave a link in the comments for us!

I Really Shouldn't Join My Parents Grocery Shopping.

I usually go grocery shopping with my parents.  I don't generally mind it and they usually appreciate help finding better deals and such.

On Thursday I was with them and my little brother was there too.  I really had to pee, so my brother and I went to the bathrooms, clear on the other side of the store.  When we were done, we just went back to where our parents last were since they weren't answering our texts or calls.

Then we stood and waited, and waited, and waited.  Then this older lady in one of those chair things starts backing up past us and staring at us.  So I grab my brothers sleeve and pull him out of the way with me.  The lady jumps and tells us "Huh. I thought you guys were a display!".

What?!  I don't even get why anyone would think that.  It's not like we were even standing very still.  But, the lady giving out free wine tasting sure thought it was hilarious.
